With Petriage, you can quickly determine the urgency of your pet's health concerns, any time, day, or night. Within seconds, you and your vet will receive a next-steps recommendation generated by a sophisticated algorithm. When the Symptom Checker provides a non-urgent outcome, Petriage allows you to request an eConsult (virtual consultation) with our veterinarian. 

HOW IT WORKS

2. Use Petriage any time you have a pet health concern.

​

The Petriage Symptom Checker gives pet parents real-time results and next-step recommendations, evaluating pet symptoms on a four-point scale: Non-Threatening, Worrisome, Urgent, or Emergency. The statistical model is continuously perfected by user input and validated by a team of veterinarians. 

​

Additionally, your veterinarian will receive a copy of the symptom analysis report to be added to your pet’s medical record, ensuring your veterinarian is kept informed of any changes to your pet’s health.

3. Consult with your family vet.

For symptom analysis results that are not an emergency, you will be given two options: 

​

  1. Call your clinic to schedule an appointment or 

  2. Request an eConsult (virtual consultation)

 

eConsults allow you to send text messages and share photos and videos with your veterinarian. From within an eConsult, the veterinarian can also initiate a video call for live, real-time video consultations.
