🚨 Is This a Pet Emergency?
If your pet is experiencing any of the following, do not wait. Call one of the emergency facilities listed below immediately.*
Immediate Life-Threatening Signs

Breathing Distress: Labored breathing, gasping, wheezing, or open-mouthed breathing (especially in cats).

Color Changes: Blue, purple, or very pale gums and tongue.

Loss of Consciousness: Sudden collapse, fainting, or inability to wake up.

Seizures: Especially if this is their first seizure or if they are having multiple seizures in a row.

Non-Productive Retching: Attempting to vomit with nothing coming up (a hallmark sign of Bloat/GDV).
Critical Injuries & Pain

Major Trauma: Being hit by a car, falling from a significant height, or being involved in a severe animal fight.

Uncontrolled Bleeding: Bleeding that does not stop after 5 minutes of direct pressure.

Sudden Paralysis: Dragging back legs or sudden inability to walk.

Vocalizing in Pain: Intense crying, whining, or aggression when touched.
Urgent Medical Concerns

Toxin Ingestion: Known or suspected ingestion of chocolate, grapes, human medications, or chemicals.

Urinary Blockage: Straining to urinate with little to no production (extremely critical for male cats).

Eye Injuries: Sudden squinting, cloudiness, or visible trauma to the eye.

Severe GI Distress: Persistent vomiting or diarrhea, especially if bloody.
