Our Services

Dogs and cats age fast when compared to their human counterparts and are often good at hiding their diseases. Along with a thorough history, a full comprehensive physical exam is the most important part of any veterinary visit - Especially when your pet can't tell you what's wrong. Even minor discoveries can make the difference in your pet's quality of life.

It is recommended to have an exam every 6-12 months to make sure your pet stays in optimum health. A thorough exam evaluates your pet from head to tail, including looking into the eyes and ears, checking their teeth and condition of the skin and coat, then feeling the surface of the body for any growths or tumors. Next, making sure the neurological and musculoskeletal systems are working properly. Finally, listening to the heart and lungs, as well as pressing on the abdomen to inspect the internal organs and check for anything abnormal (such as masses, pain, or bladder stones).

After assessing your pet's health condition, the next step is to review their vaccination status, nutrition, parasite prevention, and address any behavioral concerns. Lastly, we'll decide the best course of action that fits both you and your pet.
